Let me try to explain and make this situation a bit more clear. Opposing the Quran & Sunnah is to oppose the Deen as a whole, generally speaking. This is not allowable, even when it’s done out of mistake or misunderstanding. The situation needs to be addressed and corrected. But this is very different from an individual who opposes that which we understand from a verse or a narration. Here, this so-called opposition has many reasons that can cause it, and we will discuss some of them in detail further on in this discussion. But tell me something… Do they seem to be the same to you, especially in how we act and feel about this individual?
