“As husbands, contrary to popular belief, the men have a huge responsibility placed on them. Yes, taking care of your families financially is very important, but taking care of them emotionally, physically, in terms of their education and in many other aspects. We have many good brothers out there that are trying to provide for their family monetarily, but are failing to uphold the other parts of their multifaceted position in the family. We have to remember that it is not only about finances, but those that sign on to become the head of a household, doesn’t necessarily sign up to be the one that is served in the household, rather they often are and should be the ones that are working to serve the others in the house on so many different levels.”
