“As I mentioned before, generally at a young age, our children will do whatever is pleasing to their parents. They just want Mom and Dad to be happy. Eventually, though, they grow up and begin to realize that they have things that make them happy as well. When we have spent all of our time pushing on them the professions, aspirations, goals that we have on them, it causes them to want to fulfill them out of their love for us. Yet, they realize that their interests lie elsewhere. Can you imagine the internal struggle that this causes in our children?”
