- What is the ruling for smelling perfume while fasting?
Answer:
- There is no problem with smelling perfume for the fasting person. It doesn’t matter if it is that which is applied to the skin or that which is burned. Though, if it is one of the types that are burned then you do not want to breath in the smoke. This is because the smoke has parts to it that reach the stomach, therefore it is something that breaks ones fast like water and the likes. But just from smelling it with out breathing in the smoke there is no problem.
