“For someone looking to gain knowledge, the first thing that they need to do is to make sure that their intention behind seeking this knowledge is correct. If we are seeking knowledge for Allah’s sake alone, He will bless us in all that He gives us. The issue that many run into though is looking to gain understanding to be a Scholar, Imaam, Teacher or the likes. When in all actuality the act of seeking knowledge and understanding should be done for the purpose of practicing it & earning Allah’s pleasure.”
