The last issue that we need to touch on is that which is called “At – Tahreef”. This is what you see that some people fall into in terms of completely changing that which was sent down. This is another issue that comes about generally due to our asking the question “How”. Generally, what ends up happening is instead of confirming some sort of similitude between Allah and His creation, or completely rejecting that which was sent down. They change the meaning to fit something acceptable to their own understanding.
The problems that stem from this, when looked closely into this should be clear. It does not need a lot of explanation as to what is wrong with it. So read over this post a few times so that when we bring an example in the next post, the situation will be crystal clear.
