In the last post, we mentioned a very important narration. As promised, I wanted to discuss with you another benefit that is often skipped over about this particular hadeeth. This is the fact that what is mentioned in this hadeeth is talking about the situation and opportunity for the believers, who are trying to take advantage of all that is available us during the course of this month. This means that this is not something that is afforded to other than the believers.
We have to understand that there are going to be plenty of people that will continue with their evil during the course of the month. There are many that are not at all concerned with what this month brings with it. They will be distracted with their everyday lives, and will be too busy to work towards the real goal. Therefore, obtaining Allah’s pleasure and putting as much space between them and Allah’s punishment will not be their main objective.
So, we have to make sure that we are not from among these people that lose out when it comes to getting the most benefit possible out of this month. May Allah protect is all from this situation. Allahuma ameen.
