First and foremost, I want to thank those of you that shared some of the examples of how the Quran shed light on issues that could not have been known in the middle of the desert over 1400 years ago. May Allah reward all of you for your efforts and diligence. Allahuma ameen.
The most clear and familiar to most of us, was the example given by our dear brother Muhammad Abdul Adheem. This was the example of how Allah told us about the stages of life. He tells us about what happens inside the womb of a woman, what happens when one is born, and even when they die. Allah stated in His book;
{And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth).(12) Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). (13) Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. (14) After that, surely, you will die. (15) Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. (16)}
[Muminoon 12-16]
As I was explaining before, there is no way that this could have been known so long ago. This is a detailed description as to what happens inside the womb. If not from Allah, where did the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings get this information? As a matter of fact, doctors and scientist of our time have not come up with this as conclusive facts until less than 100 years ago. Subhanna Allah.
If this is not proof that the Quran can not be anything but the truth from Allah. I don’t know what else someone needs to be convinced.
May Allah guide us all to submitting to the truth when it comes to us… Allahuma ameen.
