We have those that try to justify this by saying that the other party is going against the Quran and the Sunnah. This is a big statement and claim which is often made, as well as often misused. We need to begin to differentiate between opposing the Quran and Sunnah and opposing a particular verse or narration. This misusage tends to have us saying things about one another which is simply unjust and untrue. This is why the issue of putting people in categories such as this should be left up to the people of knowledge. Before I get into explaining how this is something that causes major problems, is there one of you that can beat me to the punch?
