When our loved ones ask us to refrain from doing certain things. We find that we generally leave those things off. Think about it for a second, there may be things that you love doing, things you’ve done as long as you can remember, but because they show their displeasure about it you’ve decided to leave it off. Now, if this happens simply because of their showing displeasure, how much more certain would you be to leave it off if when they verbally tell you not to do it again? Most times you leave it off for no other reason than just to keep them happy with you.
If our love for Allah is as strong as we claim, then why do we have such a hard time doing the same for Him?
