Some people actually look to marry simply because someone is considered to be well known. They may either be known in a community, city, state or even a country. You will find that people will get married, simply because they want to be in the limelight. This is a very bad reason to marry someone if this the the only reason why you are considering this person for marriage.
As we have seen over the years, this is something that often causes people to be blinded as to who their potential spouse is in reality. People get so caught up in who their public profile and popular opinion has made them out to be, they forget to look and see who they are for themselves. We have seen this happen far too many times to be mentioned. There are very few of us that can say that we do not personally know examples of this happening. If we don’t know them personally, then we have without a doubt, heard the horror stories.
People are marrying and finding out later that they married someone that they never took the time to know. Can you say that you do not know of a situation where this was the case. This individual may have been a child molester, a rapist, a person with a history of violent crimes, etc. Then someone comes and marries them, simply because of the fact that they are supposed to be well known on some level or another. This becomes really dangerous when we think about the fact that some people are introducing these people to their small, vulnerable children. Do you not see this as a problem?
