Another thing that we want to keep in mind is the benefits that will come from someone having good character and mannerisms. I want to take a second to point out that the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was once asked about that which will be the greatest of things that will cause one to be entered into the paradise. He (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “Piety (taqwah) and good mannerisms.” [reported by Imaam at Tirmadhi]. When we ponder over the wording of this hadeeth, we see the real importance of this issue, as well as the effects of practicing Islamic Morals.
Are there any of us that feel as though we do not need to do all that we can to help our chances of gaining Allah’s pleasure, so that He enter us into the Jannah? Hopefully we all see that there are improvements that we can make that will aid us in accomplishing that goal that all of us should have, and this is entering into Allah’s reward on the day of judgement. We all know that our actions in themselves will not cause us to enter into the jannah, but we should understand that our fixing ourselves and worshiping Allah correctly, we can gain His pleasure in sha Allah, and hopefully be granted entrance into His paradise. May Allah make this ease on all of us and forgive us for our shortcomings… Allahuma ameen!!!
