Good mannerisms are from among those things that any intelligent Muslim would constantly be asking Allah to aid them in establishing them in their daily lives. This is because, it is without a doubt from those things that if Allah wants good for His worshiper, He makes it easy on them to have these mannerisms and characteristics. This is a great virtue that’s value cannot truly be measured. It is from those things that lead to nothing but good in both this life and that of the next life. May Allah bless us with being the way in which we are supposed to be in terms of our mannerisms and characteristics. Allahuma ameen.
To show you the reality of what I am saying here in this post, I want to turn your attention to the hadeeth in the Sahih of Imaam Muslim, where he reported that the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) stated, “Piety is good character”. Is there any of us that would dare to say that there isn’t an extreme amount of good in piety? Is there any of us that are not trying to obtain it? I am sure that the answer to those questions are no. Then, we need to take heed as to what the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said about what ‘Piety’ is, and try our hardest to obtain it. May Allah make it easy. Allahuma ameen.
