In this series, I want to discuss with all of you something that we all claim to understand, but many of our actions and statements show otherwise. So I figured that during this series we would look into this topic, and the stance Islam takes toward it. This issue is no other than “Good Mannerisms”. We all talk about how important it is for one to posses good mannerisms, but talk is cheap. Look around in our communities, and see if you find the majority are currently practicing these characteristics, or other than them.
Therefore, so that we can bring the issue to light and begin a discussion with all of you we are devoting this whole series to this topic. Hopefully, you will take what you get from it and begin a discussing this issue with all of those that you come in contact with daily. If the discussion does not cause them to make a huge change in their lives, it may at the very least cause them to be more conscious about how they carry themselves on a daily basis.
So make sure to do your part and get the discussion started. Who knows what good will come from your bringing this topic to the attention of the people. It may cause a huge change for some, which may cause in a huge reward for you with your Lord.
