Now, we will get into the main point that we would like to discuss with you about this verse. This is the statement at the end of the verse, when Allah stated;
{…and be with the truthful.}
[(9):119]
First and foremost, we see that Allah commands us to be with those that are truthful. This is both figuratively speaking, as well as in reality. The reason why this is so important, is because when talking about being good companions and having good companions this is a characteristic that as Muslims we must be described with having.
When we say it is figuratively speaking, we mean that Allah is commanding us to be with those who are truthful, or in other words, to be like them or from them. He is, in this manner telling us to be of those that are described with this attribute.
We see here that Allah has commanded us to do this. He tells us to be of those that are described as truthful.
