In this new series, we want to discuss with you certain things that we should all know as Muslims. When I say this, I do not mean so much in terms of being scholars, and not even students of knowledge. Rather there are certain things that we should be taught along side of the basics of our religion. So much so, that there are things that we should be able to teach our children as parents, that we may never have learned ourselves. Some of you have even experiences before, sending your child to school, and having your elementary school aged child come home and ask you for help and you have to admit that you do not now certain issues that are looked at as kids play.
Well, in this series, we will try as hard as possible to bring some of these ideas to your attention, so that we will lessen the chances of this happening. Just remember, that we are not doing it solely for the sake of being able to show off for our children, but these things really are important to each and every one of us. They are also good conversational pieces when trying to give dawah to new Muslims, as well as non Muslims. Either way, these are issues that we all need to know, and really are easy concepts and words to memorize. So what do you say we get started?
