This is a recorded class that was done from a series of classes called ‘The Fasting Series”. In this particular lesson we discussed Fasting and a couple of more correct and complete definitions, so that we can stop telling people that fasting means to leave off food and drink during the days. We also discussed some proofs and evidences showing that fasting is a legislated act of worship in Islam. The last point that we discussed is the fact that there are certain conditions that when met, the fast becomes an obligation on that individual. We touched on not only these conditions, but as well proofs and evidences for these from the Quran and Sunnah.
We pray that this class is even more of a benefit for all of you as it was for those that were present for the class. Your comments are welcome below. Also, as usual we ask that, if you felt as though it is beneficial, that you share it with your friends and family, so that they can benefit from it as well.
