The last of these things that I would like to mention here is the fact that the stronger of the devils are restrained during the course of this month. This is a major benefit that we find in this particular month. It is obvious that we have a hard enough time fighting against the evil our own souls call us to many times. But normally we are fighting against ourselves and the devils. So, with the stronger of them being locked down during this month, it makes it even easier for us to involve ourselves in good deeds and refraining from disobedience.
Their being locked away from man, inhibits their ability to misguide, mislead and tempt mankind into partaking in those things that will cause Allah to be displeased with us. Is this anything but mercy from Allah?
We see that He has put all of this enormous benefit and opportunity in this month and increased the reward of many of our deeds in this month. On top of all of this, He has restrained a major cause of temptation from those people that He has written for them all of this good. Is it not obvious that Allah has made this month a complete and total month of Rahmah (Mercy) for is worshipers?
