Getting a tooth pulled while fasting

Question:

  • What is the ruling for getting a tooth pulled for the fasting person?

Answer:

  • The blood that will come out of the body because of a tooth extraction and its like is very little and does not break ones fast. It does not have the same effect on the body as cupping (hijamah), therefore does not break ones fast.
