Still refusing to confirm it before you repeat it?

These days we find that many people are still falling into the same holes that their parents and grandparents fell into. How is this possible? For those of us that were not always Muslim, we knew that if someone sat around repeating all that they heard, then their narrations were not to be trusted. We knew that we could not take what such people had to say and base anything off of it. These tale-carriers were rarely even considered to be respectable people in the eyes of the community. Meeting On Common Ground

Brothers and Sisters; Today we want to talk a bit about something that many of us have forgotten about since becoming Muslim. We want to talk a bit about this thing called "A COMPROMISE." To be honest, many of us need to be ashamed of ourselves and how we act toward one another in times of disagreement and discord. We yell, we scream, we do all we need to prove ourselves right and the other wrong regardless of who is really right or wrong. The thing that is important to most of us, is that we are said to be the victorious one, or the one that came out on top of the argument at the end of the day. Working Toward Purifying The Soul

Sheikh As - S'adee (may Allah have mercy on him) said in some beautiful advice to the Muslim Ummah; All the praise is for Allah, the one that opened up the gates of good for His awliyah. He poured his favors and gifts upon them. He is the one that humiliated those who were in opposition to His awliyah and left them misguided .
